Storyteller Alexus Rhone is a writer, producer, artistic theologian and “revolutionary artist” devoted to candidly exploring the power of truth when ‘dressed’ in story.
Her specialty is true first person narratives told by adults for adults thru her company Truth Meets Story, LLC.
In this episode, we talk about vulnerability and the importance of storytelling for adults in an judgment-free zone, developing a story for a particular audience, storytelling as a means to expand empathy, create solutions, and fulfill Alexus’ mission to create a more compassionate world.
And of course, it’s chock full of stories!
Alexus Rhone holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and a Bachelor of Journalism/Public Relations degree from the University of Texas at Austin. The host of the weekly faith and adult-storytelling series “Jesus, Jazz & Dessert Wine@Vespers”, Lex currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. www.alexusrhone.com
