100: My Geriatric Uterus with Lormarev Jones, playwright and solo performer

My Geriatric Uterus is a bold, brazen and brash solo play that examines the expectations placed on women’s bodies against the backdrop of late stage Capitalism. Written and performed by Lormarev Jones, featuring music by Christopher Wood, My Geriatric Uterus premiered at the 2019 Cincinnati Fringe Festival and was the winner of the David C. Herriman Artists’ Pick of the Fringe.

In this conversation with Lormarev Jones, we talk about the writing and development process for My Geriatric Uterus, collaborating while developing a solo piece, writing tips, self-care, and more.
