The Declaration of Love Project is an anthology of 11 short audio pieces written by North Carolina playwrights all inspired by the same writing prompt — “declaration of love.”
Episode 2, written by Tamara Kissane is titled Game On.
Snuggle in for a mellow game of Candy Corner with long-time friends, Rita and Sheree. Game On is a sweet comedic peek into what it means to find love, find life, and stay friends forever.

Tamara Kissane (Playwright, Game On): Tamara is a Durham-based playwright, parent, producer, and podcaster. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Artist Soapbox (www.artistsoapbox.org). Recent audio projects include: The New Colossus and Master Builder audio dramas. Tamara is the 2020 Piedmont Laureate.
Aurelia Belfield (Actor, Game On): Aurelia is a creative multi-hyphenate living in NC. The hyphens include: music supervisor, as well as screen and stage performer, writer, and producer. She has a passion for audio dramas and is proud to bring you this anthology alongside her co-producer Tamara Kissane, as well as the full length audio drama The New Colossus. She plays Rita in Game On and is the playwright for Constellation.
Kyma Lassiter (Actor, Game On) Kyma is a performing artist who resides in Raleigh, NC. Some of her favorite theatre credits include: A Doll’s House Remodeled (JTP); The Piano Lesson (Cape Fear Regional Theater) and uncletom:deconstructed (The Conciliation Project). Kyma is also the Arts and Outreach Coordinator of the NC African American Heritage Commission. Kyma plays Sheree in Game On.
