Always: Declaration of Love Episode 11

The Declaration of Love Project is an anthology of 11 short audio pieces written by North Carolina playwrights all inspired by the same writing prompt — “declaration of love.”

Episode 11, written by Thaddaeus Edwards is titled Always.

How do we encompass the ocean of love we feel for our child? Always is an ode to a parent-child relationship seen through a looking glass and reflected through a pane of love. 

Declaration of Love is an Artist Soapbox production, co-produced by Aurelia Belfield and Tamara Kissane, and sound designed by David Hill.

BIOS:

Thaddaeus Edwards (Playwright, Always): Thaddaeus declares his love for Durham, NC, where he lives, daily. He has performed with Bulldog Ensemble Theater, Hidden Voices, Manbites Dog, Cape Fear Regional Theatre, among many others. Sharp-eared listeners have previously heard him as Lionel in Artist Soapbox’s Audio Drama production of Master Builder.

Trevor Johnson (Actor, Always):  Trevor is a long time resident of Durham, NC and a native of New Bern, NC.  He was in Everybody, Jump and Leaving Eden with PlayMakers Repertory Company, and has acted in various other regional performances.  Trevor has degrees from UNC-CH and NCCU.  He is a family man and home inspector who enjoys the outdoors and gardening.  Trevor plays Dad in Always.
